A gold-tone teardrop with a fine textured border, closer to an heirloom than a medical tag. Worn with a blouse or under a jumper, it looks like jewellery. The small medical symbol on the front tells a paramedic to turn it over.

Why an NHS number?

Ambulance crews in England can use it to look up the wearer’s medicines and allergies, so the pendant says far more than fits on the back.

It’s in the NHS App, on prescriptions and on GP letters. Other ways to find it (NHS website, opens in a new tab). In Scotland, choose CHI number; in Northern Ireland, H&C number.

Made to be worn

Gold-tone finish with a textured border, white enamel front. Designed and assembled in London, and engraved by us so the lettering stays sharp and dark.

Looking after it

Take it off for swimming, bathing and cleaning with chemicals.
Wipe with a soft, dry cloth to bring back the shine.
Store it in its box so the enamel isn’t knocked.

Delivery and returns

Dispatched the next working day after we’ve checked your engraving, with free tracked UK delivery. Engraved pendants are made to order, so they can’t be returned for a change of mind; if one is faulty or not as your proof, we remake it free or refund you.
